A completed project involving the construction of a 9 apartment block in Belsize Park, North London. In 2011 we bought an old building with a planning permission for its demolition and the construction of a new apartment block. The approved project was completely rejigged, the layouts, the ceiling heights and other details were much improved and a new permission obtained. We put together a project team including an architect, services and structural engineers and other consultants. The team completed the detailed design required for the tender. From a list of 5 contractors Vision Homes was selected and appointed on a design and build basis. Construction took 15 months and was completed in 2013. All nine apartments were sold off plan before the end of construction works.
