Location of First Croisette

3 Boulevard de la Croisette, 06400 Cannes, France

First Croisette is located in the heart of The Promenade de la Croisette and it is breathtaking. This is the road that winds, a mirror of the sea-scrubbed coast of Cannes, dotted with a well-manicured treeline that interrupts the car path from the paths of boats heading to the docks. There are many coasts, and many roads that run along those coasts, but none are the Promenade de la Croisette.

It’s easy to stroll down it too, for what it’s worth. Nobody is in a rush on the Promenade de la Croisette; the brickwork pavement for pedestrians is broad and friendly. The architects, in their wisdom, want you to take your time. Cannes real estate is for sale. If you want to get to the beach itself, it takes hardly any time at all, and if you want to shop, you should. If you enjoy swimming, there are two public beaches, the Plage Mace and the Plage du Casino. There are also quieter, private beaches, including the Croisette Beach and the Baoli Beach, that are affiliated with specific resorts and hotels.

On the Promenade de la Croisette, you’ll never be far from excellence.

Design of the First Croisette in Cannes

The project was designed by the design Studio Guilhem & Guilhem and the entire aesthetic was devised to maximize your pleasure. We’ll let them explain themselves:

“The Guilhem Studio creates environments that embody both classic elegance and luxury”.

Imbued with an architectural vision of movement, Richard Guilhem is constantly experimenting and inventing in his search for solutions that enhance the fluidity of space. Exacting and highly selective, he chooses the materials to be used with meticulous care. From renovation work to original designs, Guilhem Studio will take your project in hand and to a higher level from start to finish.

Richard Guilhem’s main goal is to make sure each project is in perfect harmony with own special environment.

His philosophy: “to listen attentively to his clients’ needs, and to effectively interpret their requirements in both aesthetic and architectural terms. Richard Guilhem is totally committed to each project he undertakes and oversees the work from the design and drafting phase to its actual construction and finishing touches, ever watchful of every detail.”

This is how the First Croisette was made — with these vibrant principles in mind.

The Cannes Film Festival has launched the careers of many exciting directors and actors. Imagine what it would be like to be there, to witness the birth of a new artist, someone who may well change that way you think about film, or even life, itself.

A wise philosopher said that the mark of great art is that it provokes in the viewer an epiphany: not merely an insight into himself, or into the nature of things, but a personal re-orienting. Great art is like a flash of lightning, illuminating a world we only know by touch in darkness; it shows us not only who we are, but where. This is what The Cannes Film Festival aspires to, to evoke this internal change through the art of film.

Best restaurants in the area

Promenade de la Croisette is full to the brim of A-list, Michelin Star restaurants. French cuisine is synonymous with refinement and delicate flavors, and in Cannes, over thirty restaurants have been awarded the culinary world’s highest honor. Here are the best of the best:

  • Fouquet’s Cannes by Pierre Gagnaire. The Michelin guidebook advises visitors, “The Mediterranean inspired menu features upmarket brasserie classics, all of which are under the experienced eye of Pierre Gagnaire. Take a seat on the terrace and bask in the Cannes’ sunshine.” Pierre Gagnaire is an innovative leader in the competitive genre of fusion cuisine, composing astonishing pairings in a picturesque setting.

  • La Petite Maison de Nicole. This restaurant takes on the homey, comforting staples of Southern French cuisine and elevates them to international heights. Inside one of the best hotels in Cannes, guests at La Petite Maison de Nicole dine on fresh seafood with rich flavor profiles, including crab tempura and calamaretti fritti.

  • La Palme d’Or. According to the Michelin guidebook, which awarded La Palme d’Or with its second star this year, “The personality and talent of the chef and their team is evident in the expertly crafted dishes, which are refined, inspired and sometimes original.” Named after the most prestigious award at the Cannes Film Festival, the restaurant staff take inspiration from cinema, art, history, philosophy, and, of course, the natural world.

Yacht Club La Croisette

The Yacht Club in Cannes has been a prestigious social and athletic institution since 1860. From February 25th to March 3rd of this year, the club celebrates International Finn Week, a week dedicated to those who aim to win the Sailing World Championships and, later, the Regatta Masters.

The Yacht Club de Cannes has a long tradition of honoring the wild spirit of mankind, by which we tamed the seas and met our destinies as a global people. Sailing combines both man’s ingenuity, in designing ships with the greatest technological prowess of our age, and man’s physical strength, by which we may bear the harsh conditions of the winds and the waves.

For this reason, the Yacht Club de Cannes sponsors the Cannes Dragon Grand Prix, a race over 28 miles of sea designed for class-one vessels, to compete and demonstrate their greatness.

The Yacht Club de Cannes also has a restaurant, Le Skipper, which is as playful and quirky as you can afford to be when you’ve got a yacht.

Features of The Region. French Riviera

The French Riviera is the most beautiful, historic coastline in Europe.

This coast, which stretches all the way from the French-Italian border to Cassis, is one of the oldest beaches to be cultivated into a resort. Over 200 years ago, British rulers and monarchs from across the continent began to seek out this lovely bay as a getaway, to relax and improve their health.

Nowadays, the restorative power of this unique beachfront has made it a destination for the rich and famous across the globe. International politicians, athletes, artists, and CEOs visit to restore their sanity in a stressful world. Elton John makes permanent residence here.

This glorious, nay, utopian natural wonder has been the source of inspiration for some of the most mold-breaking artists of the 19th and 20th centuries. Cezanne was first to call this place his home. At the time, it was only a small fishing village. Yet who could look at a painting like ‘The Gulf of Marseilles’ and deny the influence of the Riviera’s majesty, even when it was so humbly thought of? In his footsteps followed Van Gogh, Monet, Picasso, Edvard Munch, and other impressionist-era greats.

French Riviera real estate is for sale, and French Riviera apartments are for sale as well.
